Great Finds To Start Your Week

Monday, Monday it’s almost time, don't be late!

The dash is on to decorate!

Among other things.

Sorry but my rhyming skills are only good for two lines, lol
If Mondays are not usually your favorite day,
I thought I'd make them a little brighter.
Each Monday I post a great new find.
With the help of Etsy and my new addiction Pinterest, of course.

This Monday it’s....

It's an amazing online shop that will let you customize any of their products for $7.50. Like this dress below, but want sleeves...they will do it!

I actually really do want this dress...super cute and this top...

I purchased a top from them and I love it!!! It arrived with a cute little bag holding a measuring tape for next time. That way I can customize, wahoo!! The top is so comfy it was like wearing pjs.

I actually planned on wearing skinny's and riding boots, but I was lazy and didn't get my laundry done...oh well. Nobody's perfect especially me, lol!!!

WIWW

Week four was a doosy! Only 3 outfits to link up with

Lindsey

for WIWW (what I wore wednesday). My first boutique of the season plus I was slammed with sickness and what does that equal...a whole lot of pj's and sweats. But in this case I was totally justified. The hard part with being sick was that also meant I couldn't crochet. I never pick up yarn if anyone in the house is sick. Just doesn't feel right when I know most of my

products

are being sent to new little ones. Now, of course, I'm even more behind than before. My hope is that over the next couple of days I can catch up and have some time to enjoy Halloween festivities.

What's new

I have been working on a few new things lately and I wanted to share one that I'm super in love with...introducing the

Three Rosette Headband

At only $12.00 this sweet little trio of roses would be the perfect accessory for any occasion. The center rose measures about 1 inch, but since they are all individuals that measurement varies with each one. Made out of 100% mercerized yarn and 1/8" skinny elastic these custom headbands will be made to fit standard head circumference for age of child unless exact measurements are provided in comments.

Sizes available are:

newborn-13 1/4"

0-3 months-14"

3-6 months-14 1/2"

6-12 months-16"

12 months-teen-17 1/2"

Adult-18"

Right now I only have this red one listed, but I will be adding more colors over the next couple of weeks.

Wow I can't believe I have missed 2 Fit Fridays, yikes. Well we won't count this one as missed only a day late, lol. I have been doing really well maintaining the last two weeks. Maintaining is the key word here. I haven't lost anymore, but not gaining is awesome. Especially with the amount of candy corns I have eaten. I am absolutely in love with those little buggers and look forward to this season for that reason alone. Call me crazy, i know.

Playing around on the net the other day I found this...Candy Corn Cheesecake Mousse talk about yummy!

Just looking at it makes me gain wait, lol. In order to ease the guilt I came up with a better solution.

I used 2 SF-FF Jell-o Cheesecake pudding as directed on the box with FF milk. I separated into two bowls and added orange and yellow food coloring. I poured the orange in first and then let it set up for a few and then added the yellow. I finished with lite cool whip for the top. The kids loved it and I couldn't get enough. Of course, I love anything jell-o pudding!

Parties Galore

(Get ready for picture overload)

September always brings a whirlwind of party festivities. With both Maddie and Noah's birthday just days apart we opted to celebrate Maddie's with a birthday breakfast on the actual day and then a joint party with the family on Noah's day. I can't believe Miss Maddie is eleven, wow! She is just the most amazing little thing and we are so blessed to have her!

Once again she made it easy for us. American girl all the way :)

Yes I did make 2 cakes and no they weren't anything special, but the kiddos were happy. I had the best idea to make Noah a turtle cake and the first thing out of his mouth was "Ninja Turtle". Are those even around anymore???
Who knows but he was happy, so therefore, the rest of us were happy.

This easy going two year old is now three and definitely challenging us on every level. Amazing what a few months can to do to toddler. He is so fun and loves everything "Daddy". Can't believe my baby is getting so big...

Noah is really into cars, swords, and make believe. He was riding high with all of his birthday loot.

As this year was a "party year" Maddie wanted to make it special with a Hollywood party. We had a red carpet, popcorn cupcakes, popcorn machine, and a movie. The girls had a lot of fun and I must say was one of the easiest parties I have ever done. Which was good cause I was alone. Devin stayed up in Enterprise to prep for the SG marathon that was the next day.

And with that, friend parties are done till 2013. Here's to looking forward to family parties for the next year, yay!!!

WIWW

I'm linking up again with Lindsey for week 3 of WIWW (what I wore wednesday). I was crazy busy this week and to be totally honest I missed 2 days and ran out of time to take my picture for the other one, lol. Most of these were taken by people who just happened to be in the vicinity. Love helpers!!!

Day 1: Errands

tank: old navy
cardi: hollister
skinnys: old navy
boots: old navy
bracelet: gap

Had to get a close up of my bracelet. This is by far my most favorite piece at the moment. So much fun, but doesn't pair to well with crocheting. Kept getting my yarn caught, lol.

Day 2: Photography sessions for work and my bff

Knew I needed a pic so as soon as the session was over I asked my bff if she could hurry and snap one of me. Not to bad without a mirror :)

tank: shade
shirt: american eagle
jeans: seven
shoes: soda

Day 5: Church

shirt: banana republic
skirt: banana republic
belt: target
bracelet: h&m
shoes: mudd
bobby pin: me - treasuredbyholly

I am so excited about these little babies! Just started making them this last weekend so they're not up in my shop yet, but very soon. They are literally going to save me from all of my bad bang days, yay.

Day 6: working from home

Outside enjoying the beautiful fall afternoon I had miss Maddie take the pic. After about 20 she figured it out. Think its about time for some photog lessons. Then she can help me out before the day is over and kid stains cover my shirt :)

tank: old navy
shirt: gap
shorts: american eagle
sandals: paprika

Now that's its been 3 weeks does that mean a habit is in place???
