Classic Beauty!

Holly PitcherComment
I received a picture from one of my clients showcasing my work as well as hers! I just love when I can get pictures of my products! We all know that pictures are worth a thousand words and this photo is the epitome of that!

That's why this year, New Year's resolution #1 is to take/get more pictures of my products in action. I have over a 125 products listed and way more sitting at home waiting their turn. This will be no small feat I am aware, but worth the time. It will help my business as well as those purchasing my products in how to wear them. Today I am going to make the rest of my resolutions and get my plan in action ;)

If you're interested in seeing more of Christine's work head on over to her website. She is simply amazing!!!! Here's the link: http://www.cpapenhausephotography.com/

Stripes are here

Holly PitcherComment
I've had a lot of requests to put stripes in my Newsboy caps. My pattern did not allow me to do so, but with a bit of tweaking to the pattern I'm happy to say bring on the stripes!

These are just two examples, but the possibilities are endless ;)

Fun times

I was able to snag one of my cousins while she was in town for a photoshoot. I must say it's not very often that I have a blonde hair, blue eyed beauty at my fingertips. Talk about a bunch of wardrobe changes, but it was all worth it. Now if I could get her Mom to bring down the rest of her sisters for Thanksgiving I would be set!!

Miss "L's" mother contacted me to whip up a little something for her Birthday. She wanted an Ava hat in Espresso with a Black Ava Flower. I was just thrilled, but of course it came with a catch. She would have to model it for a shoot. Luckily Miss "L" was happy to oblige ;) Isn't she just gorgeous!!

I just love my beautiful Young Women and their willingness to help out my business. Thanks "L" you were perfect today!

Project MAHMA

Holly PitcherComment
After becoming acquainted with Kristina Yeouze through one of my Giveaways she wanted to introduce me to something that is very near and dear to her heart. And I would like to share it with you. Being a mother of four and knowing the importance of staying home and being there with my children at all times, but also wanting the independence of working and using my brain (other than to clean up spilt milk) I reached beyond myself and started my little business of crocheting. It has brought me joy and happiness while still letting me maintain my at home status.

Not everyone can pick up a crochet hook, but there are other ways to be able to work from home. And that is where Kristina comes in...like me she needed to earn some income, but did not want to leave her young children to do it.  She found and became a part of Project MAHMA. A coalition of families across North America who stay at home with their kids and earn income by helping others live healthier, better and more independent lives. Project MAHMA is partnered with Shaklee Corporation, the number one natural nutrition company in the US to make this possible.

This is what Kristina had to say about her at home job:
The most important piece of information about what I do is the opportunity for people to take charge of their lives physically and financially. I think this is especially important for three HUGE reasons. 1. the economic downturn is affecting millions of people. The Shaklee Corporation has actually grown during each of the 6 recessions in the past 50 years without layoffs or cutbacks. 2. With the state of insurance and health care, it's easier and cheaper to take preventative measures with health. 3. Since becoming a mama, I have met dozens of other mothers who want to stay at home with their babes, but have to return to their jobs in as little as six weeks. It has become my mission to help women who want to stay at home be able to while earning the money they need.
I'm also starting a phone program where I will be calling volunteers for 3 minutes a week for 13 weeks to spotlight Shaklee products helping both me and other people become more acquainted with what Shaklee has to offer. If you or anyone you know would like to be a part of that just let me know phone numbers and the best time of day to contact.
