They are a coming...

I know it's only the end of July, but the Holidays will be here before we know it. I have finally caught up on all of my orders and have been able to spend some brain power on new designs. What's funny is now I can't shut it off. All these color combination are flashing in my head and I can't write them down fast enough. It's getting me so excited for all the fun that Fall brings. Not to mention the cooler weather, which about now in a 108 degree weather, we may all be wishing for soon enough.

Here are a few of the headbands I've got finished. All of the flowers will be available as plain flower clips as well. What do you think?

Recent Orders

I have had quite a few custom orders lately and I am loving it! Custom orders to me are so great because I love to see other peoples creativity flowing. Plus it helps me in my quest for new color combinations. My mind is constantly in color overload and it's nice to have a change of pace once in awhile. I thought I would post a few of the most recent, Enjoy!

Giveaways, Giveaways, Giveaways!

Don't we all just love Giveaways! I know I do and that's why I am constantly on the lookout for ways to win free stuff. Well I recently stumbled on a new Giveaway site similar to My Giveaway Today, but different. It's called Dandy Giveaway and let me just say it's pretty darn awesome. Right not they have are giving away a dress from Shabby Apple (a store I just love). So you all should head over and see all the stuff you can win I know I fell in love with most of it.

I can't believe...

I was chosen for two treasury's in one day. Especially with the fact that they used the same item for both. My Olivia Flower Clips in Red, Orange, Yellow, and Green. It was so fun to see how differently they were used for both.

My new goal every time I get chosen for a Treasury is to post my very favorite item from the grouping so here goes.

The first Treasury titled Orange Blossoms is bright and full of flowers. My very favorite item from this one would have to be the Leap of Faith photograph

Every once in awhile we all have to take that leap of faith and hope we come out on top. I am certainly glad I took my leap of faith with my business. It's been worth every moment, good and bad! You should definitely go and check out the rest of this great Treasury here!

The next Treasury is titled CITRUS and it is definitely juicy! It is full of vintage and modern items that are sure to brighten anyone's day! My favorite item from this one is the Vintage Retro Stackable Tupperware Mugs

New Discovery

Okay so I have discovered something that is going to make my life so much easier.  What is it you say...

Easy Lunch Boxes

My Sister-in-law won these from a Giveaway and was kind enough to share the news. Once I saw them I just had to have them! Talk about brilliant and so cheap. For only 13.95 you receive a set of 4. These are a total must have for Back to School preparations. Don't you agree?

I am still alive...

Sorry for disappearing the last couple of weeks. I had my first wholesale order and it has kind of buried me. Wholesaling seems like such a great idea but I never realized the amount of time it would take to supply such a large order in such a short amount of time. Especially over the summer with all the kiddos at home. I realize that balancing your day is the key to success in any endeavor, but these last few weeks I have totally thrown that idea out the window. Usually I set aside a few hours a day dedicated to my work so the rest of the day I can spend playing, but these days I find myself multitasking. Inviting friends over to visit, sitting by the pool, even watching a movie with my hubby is all spent crocheting in order to finish this order. Don't get me wrong I am grateful for this opportunity, but at least I have learned what I am really capable of and what my terms will be for the next one.

On a lighter note I have come up with some really cute ideas for some Holiday flowers and I can't wait to get them made and posted. So stay tuned for those :)
